US$700 billion to bailout the financial sector. Just imagine that sum of money being used to save the hungry children in the world's poorest nations. I think it would allow every single children to enjoy McDonalds' Happy Meal everyday for 5 years. Honestly it's just nonsensical to splurge so much public funds to clean up the mess left behind by Wall Street. Due to greed, those on Wall Street have created this huge mess and now they're expecting everyone else except themselves to pay for their mistakes. What a clever way to make money.
