Cheryl

I’m now very very tired after the 2hr long walk this morning. The jam was terrible. I bet at least ¼ of Singaporeans crossed the Causeway this morning. Just so unlucky to be caught in the horrible gridlock. Gahhh…

Anyway, yet to blog about yesterday’s visit to Cheryl’s house. Hmm… so nearly the entire class went to Cheryl’s house yesterday after bio test, to bid her farewell before she leaves for US later this month. Her house is so homely! Very nice parents and siblings, cozy furniture, and cute pets – it’s just so nice a home, so nice a family. How I wish my own home to be like that! We spent the whole afternoon playing taboo and pictionary. Realised some people can get really kan-chiong while playing taboo, like tay, whose left cheek would twitch when it was his turn, or jane, who kept looking at the hourglass. Then there was kat who basically answered for both teams =P. Pictionary put everyone’s drawing skills to test. Muaha, some people’s inferential skills were super imba. Like tyz who guessed jane’s drawing of an umbrella, when the art on the board was nothing like an umbrella. And some people were better at giving clues through their creative drawing, like the martian question – liang en drew something like an ant while the other side kh drew a sun, four circles and a stick man, with an arrow pointing at the man. Muaha, in all, it was pure great fun and laughter for the whole afternoon, and I think it was the best afternoon that we have spent together as a class ever. =) Thanks to Cheryl!

Then, the few of us went on the play Risk. Used to play it quite often back in Sec 4, when the few of us would spend the whole afternoon in the tower block classroom playing it (owww, bringing back the memories of sec 4 life…). Missed the game quite a lot. Many people like to think of the game as purely a dice-rolling game based on luck, I think the most important part of the game is the diplomacy with other players. Next is the strategy. Liang en is super pro at this! Salutes him for his superb skills. There were six players, so we split into three teams. Voon was the first to be booted from the board. Next went tyz. Then I left after that because I wanted to take ms kwee’s car back to hostel. Heard from Andrew later that our camp lost the game, was crushed by liang en. Haha, the game was really fun, but it always takes a very long time (at least 2 hrs per game). Also, you get to see some people’s true colours through the game, like who is the back-stabber and who is trustworthy. <3>

Wishing Cheryl all the best! Hopefully we can always get together as a class whenever she comes back. 7D forever! =)
