I foresee a rather lonely period coming up quite soon, probably starting next week...
So far I have enjoyed their company, with all the camaraderie and light-hearted moments diluting the agony of the process. But soon, I will have to continue the journey without them. I wonder if it will become much harder to swallow when the time comes.
