Problem solving skills

Some strategies of problem solving:

1. Change the way the problem is represented or formulated
2. Use an algorithm
3. Use a heuristics (working backwards from the solution, breaking the problem into smaller tasks, etc)
4. Use an analogy (a model, or similar experiences)
5. Use technology

I'm sure the list is not exhaustive! =D
